What is an AI agent for a website?
It is software that sits on your website, answers visitors from your own website and data, and does the next job for them: it takes them to the right page, filters the list, compares, saves and books. A chatbot only talks.
How does it get onto my website?
With two lines of code: a link tag and a script. Nothing else on your site changes.
Can it make things up?
Every reply is checked in code before it is shown. Invented prices, invented cars, wrong links and false claims that something is free are caught and corrected. It answers only from your own website and data. We say checked, not perfect.
Who is it for?
Car dealers and property agencies first, and we can also build agents for other websites, such as courses, events, services and catalogues.
Can ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants use it?
On a test page, our two install lines led ChatGPT to the live stock on its own, and Claude's reader loaded the agent itself. It is plain web pages, so any AI that reads the web can use it. There is also an MCP connector for AI apps that take connectors. No one can promise what an AI will recommend, because AI assistants choose their own answers.
What does it cost?

What is the TradeScale Plus Car Agent?
TradeScale Plus is a Car Agent for UK used-car dealers: a chat assistant that lives on your website, knows your entire live stock car by car, takes buyers straight to the right car, books real viewings and test drives, quotes finance at your own representative APR, and hands you qualified leads.
How does it know my stock?
It reads your actual live stock from your website, make, model, year, price, mileage, colour, fuel, gearbox, spec, features and MOT for every car, and relearns it every day. It never offers a sold or reserved car.
Is this just another chatbot?
No. A chatbot answers off a FAQ and has no idea what's on your forecourt. This is a salesperson: it answers from your real stock, navigates buyers to the exact car's page, books real appointments inside your opening hours, and quotes finance on the actual car. Is TradeScale Plus an AI live chat for car dealers?
Yes, and it goes further than live chat. It sits on your own website like live chat does, but where live chat takes a message for someone to answer later, it answers there and then from your live stock: the car, the price, the mileage, the finance at your own APR. Then it books the viewing or test drive and sends you the buyer's details. You may see it called an AI chatbot or an AI sales assistant for car dealers; we call it an agent, because it does the next job for your buyer, not just the talking.
What happens if the AI gets something wrong?
We don't trust the AI with facts, so it never answers from memory. Everything it says about a car comes from your own stock, and every answer is checked in code before your buyer sees it. A car that isn't in your stock is never offered, and a reserved car is never offered as available. A car's price, mileage, gearbox, fuel and running costs are checked against that car's own listing. Finance figures come from a calculator at your own APR, to the penny, with the full representative example, and any monthly figure that didn't come from it is taken out. You confirm each booking with one tap, and you can read every conversation in your dashboard.
How much does AI live chat cost for a car dealer?
It is priced for your business, depending on how many cars you have in stock, how many websites or branches the agent covers and the features you use. Does it work out of hours?
Yes. It answers 24 hours a day, so the buyer browsing at 10pm gets the same answers as one on a Saturday morning. A booking made out of hours goes into your next opening hours, and the lead is waiting for you in the morning.
How do bookings work?
The assistant agrees a specific date and time with the buyer for a viewing or test drive, checks it against your real opening hours (within hours, at least an hour ahead, from half an hour after opening to half an hour before closing), books it, and emails you the booking with the exact car and the customer's details and a button to confirm it.
How do I get the leads?
Every captured lead and every booking lands in your inbox with the car, the customer's name, number and email, and a summary of the chat. Reply to the email and it goes to the buyer. You also get a live dealer dashboard showing conversations, cars discussed and leads with one-tap call and email.
Does it do finance?
It gives a representative finance illustration at your own real representative APR, tied to the specific car the buyer is viewing, never an invented rate, so buyers see a realistic monthly figure and your follow-up starts warm.
Will it work on my website?
Yes, it installs on any dealer website with two lines of code, whatever platform it's built on, and runs in your own branding and name. There is nothing for your team to maintain.
Can it handle a big superstore stock?
