Appointment booking
Real viewings.
Real times.
Not “someone will call you.” The TradeScale Plus sales executive agrees an actual slot with the buyer, a viewing or a test drive, on a specific date at a specific time, checks it against your real opening hours, confirms it, and emails you the booking with the exact car and the customer's details. Your job is to put it in the diary and sell the car.
The difference
A booked buyer turns up.
There is a world of difference between a lead and an appointment. A lead is a phone number and a hope. An appointment is a named person who has agreed to stand on your forecourt at 2:30 on Thursday next to a specific car. The assistant is built to produce the second kind.
When a buyer shows interest in a car, it leads with the next step, it offers to book them in there and then, out of hours included. An enquiry at 9pm on a Sunday becomes a Tuesday afternoon test drive before your competitors have even opened their inbox.
Opening-hours aware
It knows when you're open.
Nothing kills trust like a booking you cannot honour. So every slot the assistant agrees is checked against your real opening hours before it is confirmed:
- Within your hours, it will never book outside the times you are actually open.
- At least an hour ahead, no surprise walk-ins you had three minutes' notice of.
- No later than an hour before closing, so a test drive never runs into a locked gate.
If the buyer asks for a time you cannot do, it says so and offers the nearest slot you can.

Questions, answered
Bookings, answered.
Does it actually book a time, or just take a message?
It agrees an actual date and time with the buyer, a real slot for a viewing or a test drive, confirms it, and emails you the booking with the exact car, the date and time, and the customer's details. No “someone will call you back”.
What stops it booking when we're closed?
Every booking is checked against your real opening hours. It must be within hours, at least an hour ahead, and no later than an hour before closing. It cannot book you a 6pm test drive on a Sunday if you shut at 4.
How do I find out about a booking?
It lands in your inbox the moment it is made: the exact car, the date and time, and the customer's name, mobile and email, ready to add to your diary and honour. Bookings also appear in your dealer dashboard.
Can buyers book a test drive as well as a viewing?
Yes. The assistant offers a test drive as readily as a viewing, and books either at a specific time.
Will it ever claim a booking it hasn't made?
No. It only confirms bookings it has genuinely made, and each one is emailed to you as it happens.
